Campus Accommodation for Groups

St Mary's Music School is based in a quiet, self-contained campus at Coates Hall.

During the summer (July & August) this fine Victorian building is available to groups requiring accommodation. We have regular visitors from Britain and abroad.

The campus is within easy walking distance of the city centre and near to all major transport routes.

Accommodation

There is sleeping accommodation for up to 46 visitors, each with a single bed in a twin or triple room (some groups may need to use bunk beds or Z-beds depending on the numbers of male and female guests).

Each room is comfortably furnished and has a wash hand basin. A small number of rooms have private en-suite facilities.

There is a residents' sitting room with television. Table tennis and a pool table are also available as well as an outdoor tennis court (bring your own equipment).

As guests do not have access to the kitchen, a kettle together with coffee, milk, etc. is provided in the dining room and in the residents' sitting room. A small extra charge is made for items used.

Please note that smoking is prohibited in Coates Hall, as well as within the campus grounds.

Catering

Breakfast and evening meal can be provided daily. Menus and mealtimes can be discussed when a firm booking is made. A packed lunch can also be prepared if required.
